Facebook Games – Restaurant City
It has been four weeks that Playfish has been adding Add-On for Restaurant City to keep the game interesting again for the vast majority of fans out there. Themes such as Rock, Fantasy, and Ancient Egyptian era have been out for month and now Playfish finally comes out with the Japan Theme.
Although Restaurant City previously has Japanese items in its inventory, but it was not as complete as this release. In this short review we shall go in-depth with Playfish latest release.
First off, the new Japan theme is really a marvel to be awe at as it comes included with new set of furniture, building materials and also new recipes for fans to explore and to release their imagination on their current restaurant.
Thinking of how much effort that Playfish has put into this particular theme, I wasted no time and demolishing my old restaurant and rebuild it with the new theme. I changed my workers outlook to suit new environment that they are in. That was how serious I was.
Although I was tempted to actually purchase a set of samurai armor, but I think that will be going a bit to far as this involve real money in exchange for virtual one and I do not think I will be that crazy yet to spend my hard earn money on any Facebook game.
After refurbishing my new restaurant to the new theme, we first look into the new add-on that has been provided by the developers. First stop will be the kitchen area. New recipes have been added to the menu for our local chef to learn. New recipes like Miso Soup, Sushi Selection, Sweet Rice Cake and last, but not least, Green Tea. What sort of Japanese Restaurant will it be without green tea, right?
New ingredients (Salmon and Seaweed) have also been added to ingredient list to allow our chef to help create all these delicious dishes for the customer.
Additionally new furniture has also been added to the themes and I for one would like to say that it looks amazing. The details and accuracy reflect everything similar to the one you can find in any real Japanese restaurant. You will be amazed at how much the developers have put in effort for the fans to create their dream Restaurant.
From tables to the ancient samurai armor to the high tech toilet has been included to the vast collection that is already available themes.
Moreover, in order for the fans to get into spirit of the new theme, Playfish has been sending out promotions and also providing wonderful new discounts to all the items related to the Japanese themes. Price has been cut down and free gifts have been handing out in daily basis. Playfish seems to be rather serious in promoting these particular themes to their fans.
The only thing stopping us fan right now is the virtual money and also our imagination. Personally I rather enjoyed re-decorating my restaurant and make it look like the dream Japanese restaurant that I have always wanted in the game. Big thanks to Playfish for the new theme and looking forward to more amazing themes that will come out in the future.
Low Calorie Dining – How to Eat Healthy at a Chinese Restaurant?
The authentic Chinese delicacies are rich in vegetables and usually cooked with little or no oil, owing to which they can be made a part of a low-calorie diet. However, the food offered at the Chinese restaurants in the West is nothing but a ‘Westernized’ version of the traditional Chinese food. These American-Chinese and Canadian-Chinese cuisines are rich in fat and calories and hence, it is very necessary to make healthy choices from the Western-Chinese food menu if you are following a strict low-calorie diet.
Following are a few guidelines that will help to eat healthy at your favorite Chinese restaurant:
1) When it comes to placing an order for appetizers, you should avoid foods like egg rolls and spareribs. Instead, you can opt for egg drop or wonton soups. Any low calorie broth-based soups will best suit your diet plan.
2) Other main course dishes that you can order include Chinese delicacies, such as the Shrimp Chow Mien, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Steamed Spring Rolls, Teriyaki Chicken Skewer, and Chicken served with broccoli and Chop Suey.
3) Any dish that includes steamed or boiled chicken or shrimp, and steamed vegetables is a good choice.
4) Do not order dishes that are made with sweet and thick sauces. Also, avoid any food that is battered or floured and then deep-fried. A dish prepared with loads of vegetables and little oil is the best choice you can make. Instead of the deep-fried foods, you can opt for the stir-fried, roasted or broiled ones.
5) Although fried rice is one of the most popular Chinese foods, it should be strictly avoided if you are really keen on following your low-calorie diet plan. Fried rice, especially the one made with eggs, is rich in fats and cholesterol and is a big ‘NO’ when it comes to including Chinese foods in your diet plan. If you are fond of rice, you can try brown rice that is healthier than fried rice.
6) Think twice before placing an order for dished that are described as “crispy” or “battered” in the food menu. Also watch out for dishes that include noodles, chow mien, and marinades.
7) Other bad choices would include Kung Pao chicken, crispy duck, dishes laden with rich sauces like Hoi sin, dumplings, and lo mien.
To conclude, Chinese cuisine offers a lot of healthy choices that can be made a part of your health diet, but you need to be prepared before visiting your favorite Chinese restaurant.
